VP Leni encourages supporters to keep track of her promises,

be critical of her administration if elected President

In a multi-sectoral assembly on Tuesday, March 8, at the Provincial Sports Center in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, Vice President Leni Robredo thanked her volunteers and supporters – and encouraged them to be critical of her governance style if she’s elected President in the May 9 elections.

People from all walks of life showed their support for Robredo despite the rains. Women, youth, senior citizens, LGBTQ+ community members, religious groups, and marginalized sectors gathered,...

VP Leni in Surigao: We are all the revolution

In the sea of homemade, mostly witty, placards, a particularly staid one stood out and caught the attention of presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo at the people’s rally in Surigao City last Tuesday.

“Leni is the revolution,” it said.

Robredo begged to differ. “Hindi. Tayong lahat ‘yung revolution.”

Robredo’s presidential run is powered by volunteerism and grassroots organizing never before seen in the country’s long elections history. By sheer people’s mobilization, thousands and thousands join the campaign rallies for Robredo and he...

Women for Leni: Striving Towards Lakas at Liwanag

A steady wave of support for Vice President Leni Robredo has taken over online platforms and spread onto the streets through citizen-led caravans since she filed her candidacy for the highest position in the land in October.

The country is seeing it more and more often: various groups sprouting up and shouting out loud and proud that they support Leni Robredo for President.

But way back when Robredo was still a neophyte lawmaker making her debut into national politics, Women for Leni or W4L was assembled to support her.

      W4L was launched in Dece...
