The works of over 100 visual artists, including one by National Artist Ben Cab, are part of a virtual group exhibition to support the candidacy of presidential aspirant Leni Robredo.

The show, “Mas Radikal ang Magmahal,” online at www.radikal.ph, is a “strong collective statement of support from the creative community,” says organizer Gigo Alampay. Antiqueños’ handwritten messages catch VP Leni’s attention at sectoral assembly

At the sectoral assembly of the Robredo People’s Council (RPC) held at the Antique Plaza last February 16, one particular placard caught the attention of Vice President Leni Robredo because of its poignancy for Antiqueños.

From the crowd, a pink cartolina with these handwritten words stood out, borrowing a popular line from the hit musical, “Hamilton”.

VP Leni: Rushed modernization of Metro Manila’s public transport system burden commuters and transport sector workers

The road to better public transportation in Metro Manila might be paved with good intentions but railroading it in the middle of the pandemic could only leave the commuters worse than it was before, Vice President Leni Robredo said on Friday, February 18.

In a statement, Robredo said that forcing the consolidation of PUV operators, the use of common terminals, and the mandatory upgrading of fleets of jeepneys should be put on hold.
