This website adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. A guide to understanding and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 is available at: https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/

At 2:30 pm, the Vice President went to San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan to have a dialogue with Aniban ng Lehitimong Paninirahan na Ligtas sa Sakuna I(ALPAS I) ISF beneficiaries. ALPAS I is an off-site relocation for 546 ISFs living along Marilao River, Bagong Silang River, and Amparo Creek in Caloocan City. The project was composed of 26 medium rise buildings. ALPAS I (Homeowners Association) was assisted by KM or Kilos Maralita, which is a broad coalition of urban poor organizations with almost 300 members nationwide whose mission is to create a united front against evictions and demolitions of informal housing settlements of the poor. The Office of the Vice President (OVP) is supporting KM in finding solutions to these issues arising from People’s Plan sites by facilitating dialogue with stakeholders. The OVP is also assisting KM in mobilizing private developers for the implementation of the remaining People’s Plans that have yet to be funded.

In her message, the Vice President mentioned how she hoped her late husband DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo would have seen such accomplishments because he was an advocate of such housing projects at the start of his political career. “Kaya ito po, iyong araw na ito labis na mahalaga, hindi lang sa inyo—alam ko sa inyo mahalagang-mahalaga—pero lalo na po siguro sa akin, kasi ngayong araw, binuhay niyo muli iyong alaala ng aking asawa.”
