This website adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. A guide to understanding and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 is available at: https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/

At 9:00 am, the Vice President led the flag raising ceremony of the Office of the Vice President at the Quezon City Reception House.

At 11:00 am, she attended the 22ndSt. Paul Leadership Congress in St. Paul College, Pasig City. The congress is an annual event organized by The World of Outbound Corp. together with the St. Paul Schools System. It aims to gather members of the Student Council from various St. Paul schools nationwide for seminars and workshops. The theme for this year’s congress was “Leadership Through Service”.

In her speech, the Vice President discussed how power does not solely depend on the hands of a nation’s leader to create change. “We, at the Office of the Vice President, believe that our country’s future does not lie in the hands of one great leader. Change lies in the hands of everyone. Every one has a role; every one has a contribution. Change at the individual level—collectively sustained—creates a much more permanent and widespread revolution of though, ideas, and behavior.”
