This website adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. At 6:00 pm, the Vice President attended the opening of Istorya ng Pag-asa (INP) at the Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City. INP is a photo gallery featuring different stories of hope by the Filipino people. Through words and portraits, the project aims to inspire, empower, and be a source of hope for all. It continues to expand its reach to all concerns of the country.

In her speech, the Vice President mentioned how stories of hope can be found in all backgrounds of life and hopes that more people will be inspired. “I know that as I speak before you today talking about extraordinary individuals, you already have a few inspiring people in mind. The reason why we wanted to bring the program here is to reach out to more Ateneans, young and old — those who may be going through the same difficulties in life, as well as those who may be privileged and live better lives. We hope that by telling these stories, we touch peoples’ hearts and inspire others to pay it forward.”
