Kalusugan Food Truck Has Served Over 10,000 Frontliners Since 2023

In times of disasters, calamities and other emergencies, frontliners play a vital role risking their lives to save others.

In line with this, the Office of the Vice President’s Kalusugan Food Truck (OVP-KFT) delivered freshly prepared meals to rescuers and emergency personnel reacting to various disasters across the nation, helping 5,265 people in 2025 alone.

From 2023 to 2025, KFT has served 10,631 first responders and rescuers, offering hot meals during emergency situations.

The initiative's goal is to promote the welfare of the country's frontliners, who put in countless hours of work under extreme pressure and peril. The initiative keeps rescuers on the ground energized and positive by guaranteeing access to hot, nutritious food during disaster operations.

Founded in 2023, the KFT has become a vital component of the OVP’s disaster response support programs.

The Office continues to reiterate its support for the nation's emergency responders and rescuers, recognizing their vital role in protecting communities during emergencies.
