    Marawi Relief Update

    The Office of the Vice President (OVP) today sent out 400 food packs for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Marawi that are currently in Cagayan de Oro.

    Meanwhile, yesterday May 30, the OVP also sent out a total of 1245 food packs to affected areas in Lanao. 400 food packs were sent to the municipality Saguiaran; 300 food packs were sent Brgy. Mipaga in Marawi City; 200 food packs were sent in Brgy. Saber Marawi City Lanao del Sur; while 345 food packs were sent to the Municipality of Pantar in Lanao del Norte.

    As of today, a total of 6,643 food packs have been released.

    The OVP in partnership with Xavier University, XU Social Development Cluster, XU Central Student Government, City Government of Cagayan de Oro, and the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro set up a Relief Operations Center in Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro.
