OVP Holds 3rd Annual SO Summit Conference in Zamboanga City
ZAMBOANGA CITY — The Office of the Vice President (OVP) held its Third Annual Satellite Office Summit Conference at Teatro Estrella, Universidad de Zamboanga, from January 29 to 31, 2026.
In line with its commitment to enhancing public service delivery, the three-day conference gathered satellite office leads and staff from all ten OVP Satellite Offices nationwide, along with personnel from the Central Office. The activity aimed to review accomplishments for 2025 and align strategies and priorities for 2026.
The establishment of OVP Satellite Offices under Vice President Sara Duterte addressed the longstanding challenge of centralized government services, bringing vital social services closer to communities. The recently concluded summit served as a venue for all satellite offices to assess their performance in preparation for the OVP’s upcoming Planning Conference.
Discussions focused on best practices, operational challenges, and practical solutions to further strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of OVP programs, particularly in reaching Filipinos most in need of government assistance.
The conference was attended by Undersecretary Atty. Zuleika T. Lopez, Assistant Secretary Lemuel G. Ortonio, as well as directors and heads from various OVP offices, divisions, and units.
