The event was also attended by members of the diplomatic corps, among them Korean Ambassador Kim Jae-shin, British Ambassador Asif Ahmad, Canadian Ambassador John Holmes, and Timor-Leste Ambassador JuvĂȘncio Martins; officials and staff of the US Embassy; representatives from international organizations, civil society organizations, and members of the private sector; and other invited guests.

In his toast, US Ambassador Kim said his country is committed to helping its long-time ally, the Philippines, amid the ongoing clashes in Marawi City.
