This website adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA.     VP Leni Set to Receive Thai Award

    On her first official trip abroad, Vice President Leni Robredo is set to be honored as one of the “Honorary Outstanding Woman in 2016” Monday (August 1).

    The National Council of Women (NCWT), together with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Education, host the Thai Women Day’s event with the theme, “The Power of Thai Women under the Greatest Kindness of her Majesty the Queen, the Mother of the Land” at the Jupiter and Royal Jubilee Ballroom, Challenger, Imact Muang Thong Thani Exhibition Center, Pakkred, Nonthaburi Province today and tomorrow.

    The objective of this event is to commemorate the 70th anniversary celebration of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne and the 84th birthday of Her Majesty the Queen. They are also set to award the “Honorary Outstanding Women Award of the Year 2016”.

    According to the official invite, VP Robredo will be honored for her “dedication for women in her country to improve women’s rights and gender equality including overcoming barriers to be a successful ASEAN woman leader.”

    Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand has accepted The National Council of Women of Thailand (NCWT) to be under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen and also granted permission to mark August 1 each year as Thai Women’s Day since 2003.
