VP Leni to Visit Metro Laylayan Community in Pateros

Office of the Vice President 30 June 2017

Vice President Leni Robredo will spend Friday morning (June 30) in Brgy. Santa Ana, Pateros.

Under the Metro Laylayan initiative of the Office of the Vice President, VP Leni will visit urban communities within the metro to help find support for their specific needs arising from lack of livelihood opportunities.

The event will also include a medical-dental mission and feeding program in partnership with the local government of Pateros. Angat Buhay partners will also be pledging other assistance programs that include financial literacy trainings for livelihood opportunities, trainings for potential employment, and scholarship programs for the residents of Pateros.

As the Angat Buhay program of the OVP focuses on reaching the farthest and poorest barangays in the country, Metro Laylayan looks at helping the same for those living within Metro Manila.
