MONTHLY SALARY:

₱36,619.00

PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT:

MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SERVICES DIVISION OVP CENTRAL OFFICE, MANDALUYONG

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering)

EXPERIENCE:

At least one (1) year Programming experience in software development and integration.

TRAINING:

24 hours of relevant training

SKILLS:

Knowledge in software development using Rapid Application

Development (RAD), Free Open Source Software (FOSS), research, testing, information systems research, communications, proficiency in writing and oral communication; confidentiality and professionalism; and ICT service management.

Other optional skills:

Open source systems, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Laravel, Linux, XAMPP, Android, Mac OS, Microsoft applications and Google Suite

(GSuite, gmail, drive, sites, etc.) Skills listed are preferred but not required.


 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Solves computer problems and apply computer technology to meet organization needs;

2. Technical support to realize the maximum benefit of investment in equipment, personnel, and business processes;

3. Planning and development of new computer systems and application of existing systems' resources to additional operation;

4. Designing new systems, including both hardware and software, and addition of new software application to maximize computer efficiency;

5. Systems architecture development and presentation;

6. Defining the system goals and dividing the solutions into individual steps and separate procedures;

7. Assists in structured analysis, data modeling, information engineering, mathematical model building, sampling, and cost accounting usage in system planning;

8. Specifies the inputs to be accessed by the system, design the processing steps, and format the output to meet users' needs;

9. Determines what computer hardware and software will be needed to set the system up;

10. Coordinates tests and observe the initial use of the system to ensure that it performs a s planned;

11. Prepares specifications, flow charts, and process diagrams for computer programmers to follow;

12. Works with programmers to "debug," or eliminate, errors from the system;

13. Software quality assurance analysis;

14. Diagnoses problems, recommends solutions, and determines whether program requirements have been met;

15. Performs other related function.
