PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT:

MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SERVICES DIVISION OVP CENTRAL OFFICE, MANDALUYONG

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering)

EXPERIENCE:

At least one (1) year Programming experience in software development and integration.

TRAINING:

24 hours of relevant training

SKILLS:

Knowledge in system investigation and design, database schema relationship buildup. Experience in utilization and testing of Free Open-Source Software (FOSS) and proficient in technical writing particularly in system information research including oral communication. Knowledgeable ni Open-source systems, Laravel, Linux, LibreOffice, Android, Mac OS, Microsoft applications, nuBuilder Forte, AppGini, and Google Suite (GSuite, gmail, drive, sites, etc.) Skills listed are preferred but not required.


 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


1.Supports the Systems Development Group Lead / and assists in all systems development activities;

2. Analyzes and interprets database information for computer input programming;

3. Prepares software package for the OVP and assist in the conduct of major feasibility studies;

4. Spearhead in the conduct of documentation interview /technical studies leading to computerization of the information system in the office;

5. Assists in the maintenance and administration of database and application systems and data governance;

6. Assists the implementation of policies relating to data management and system security management are in place;

7. Responsible for the testing and compliance of the system with the requirements of the end-user;

8. Provides technical assistance in the preparation,/ review and implementation of the ISSP;

9. Provides technical support in the maintenance of / existing I.T. Systems;

10. Prepares managerial reports pertaining ICT;

11. Performs administrative support to the division;

12. Performs other related functions.
