EDUCATION:
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Library Science
EXPERIENCE:
At least 4 hours relevant training
SKILLS:
ELIGIBILITY:
Basic Computer Skills, Basic Clerical/ Administrative skills, Customer Service.
R.A.1080 Librarian is an advantage but not a requirement.
1. Manage the circulation desk by checking KMLRC materials in and out, issuing library cards, and handling overdue items.
2. Assist in the establishment and implementation of Knowledge Management Learning and Resource Center (KMLRC) policies and procedures.
3. Assist in the maintenance of KMLRC collections by cataloging and classifying materials using standard library classification systems.
4. Assist in handling user inquiries regarding borrowing policies, fines, and general library information.
5. Maintain the organization of materials in the KMLRC and assist patrons, employees, and visitors in locating books and other materials using the KMLRC catalog system.
6. Assist in developing promotional visual materials to promote library programs and services.
7. Assist in the management of KMLRC BISEntral Page, electronic resources, and online databases, ensuring accessibility and usability.
8. Assist with the processing, inventory maintenance, including labeling, and sheiving of materials.
9. Assist in the repair and preservation of KMLRC materials as needed.
10. Assist in organizing and coordinating Knowledge Management events, programs, and meetings.
11. Assist in the maintenance and preparation of library records, databases, and statistical reports.
12. Performs other functions as may be assigned.
