PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT:
MEDIA AND PUBLIC RELATIONS DIVISION - CENTRAL OFFICE, MANDALUYONG
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job (e.g., Journalism, Communication, Media Relations, Mass Communication, Digital Illustration and Animation)
EXPERIENCE:
2 years of relevant experience.
TRAINING:
8 hours of relevant training.
SKILLS:
Advanced social strategy abilities;
Knowledgeable of social media management tools;
Strong and consistent communication skills;
Research skills to fact-check and stay up to date on social best practices;
Understanding of analytics and reporting;
Strong planning abilities.
1. Helps in the production of print and publication materials for the Office of the Vice President;
2. Assists in managing the OVP's official social media platforms such as preparation/ review of the following:
a. weekly/ monthly social media plan or outlook;
b. captions;
c. copies for the graphics team;
d. social media cards;
e. statement cards;
f. others, as needed
3. Helps in coordinating with other writers/contributors from other Offices/Divisions/Units on posting scheduled online content;
4. Helps in responding and engaging with followers of OVP's official social media accounts forwarding queries/ comments to concerned Offices/Divisions/Units for appropriate action;
5. Helps in monitoring social media engagements, performances, and algorithms on website, and other approved applications;
6. Helps in providing initial analysis that may help increase online presence and engagement of OVP's official social media accounts;
7. Assists in researching materials for social media campaigns and preparing a social media campaign plan;
8. Assists in coordinating with the writers and other OVP media personnel in gathering details for social media content;
9. Assists in posting approved captions, photos, videos, and other social media cards on social media platforms;
10. Assists in posting real-time contents regarding the Vice President's activities and other initiatives of OVP;
11. Assists in the production of videos on the Vice President's activities and other initiatives of OVP including: a. drafting of scripts; b. editing supervision; and c. voiceover assistance;
12. Assists in news monitoring; and
13. Supports other functions of the Division from time to time.
