ELIGIBILITY:
Career Service (Professional)/ Second Level Eligibility
1. Verifies applicants eligibility based on the Social Services Information System (SSPIS) Database to determine if the client is qualified to receive assistance;
2. Informs the Division Chief for possible instances of fraud based on questionable documents or repeated contracts for appropriate action;
3. Interviews applicant/s with confidentiality to validate information provided in the OVP Application Form;
4. Checks completeness of documents such as OVP Application Form, Medical Abstract, Quotation/Costing, DSWD Social Case Study, valid IDs of the patient and representative based on existing guidelines to facilitate processing of requests;
5. Maintains the Registry of Allotments and Notice of Cash Allocation (NCA) Issued (RANCAI) by posting daily disbursements to monitor the availability of NCA;
6. Coordinates with partner institutions with existing Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) through hospital visits and meetings to monitor eligibility of patient and fund disbursement;
7. Collects and encodes data such as list of patients charged to OVP Fund based on partner institution’s Accounting Division and Social Services Division for monitoring on the efficiency of service delivery; and
8. Substitutes for other staff officers in case of absence to ensure continuous office operations.
