During Vice President Sara Duterte's official trip to Malaysia as President of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Council, she paid a courtesy visit to Honorable Dato' Sri Fadillah Yusof, who is one of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Malaysia and the concurrent Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, in Putrajaya on February 13.

The Vice President expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the hospitality extended to her and the Philippine delegation by the Malaysian government. She also thanked them for supporting the Philippine Presidency of the SEAMEO Council and informed them that Malaysia is the third country she visited in the region.

The Vice President also expressed her warmest congratulations on the enthronement of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia. Both look forward to improving trade relations and cooperation between our countries.

The Vice President's visit was not only an opportunity to strengthen friendships with other nations but also a chance to foster deeper relationships for the cause of peace and education.
