Vice President Duterte was visited by the Spanish Ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Miguel Utray Delgado, on January 25.
Ambassador Utray proposed coordination between Spain and the Philippines in the field of education, specifically in the teaching of Spanish culture and language in schools in the Philippines.
As Secretary of the Department of Education, the Vice President also shared the Basic Education Plan for 2030 which aims to solidify additional plans to uplift the education sector, and further improve the K to 12 curriculum to ensure that graduates can immediately find of work.
