Lily visited the Office of the Vice President - Panay and Negros Islands Satellite Office on March 27 with her four-year-old daughter, Mary Ann.
The worried mother was seeking help for her daughter, who was experiencing abdominal pain.
The office recommended taking Mary Ann to the hospital for assessment and immediate treatment. She was later diagnosed with Intestinal Ascariasis, the most common human worm infection.
Under the leadership of the Panay and Negros Islands Satellite Office, Mary Ann promptly received medication, vitamins, and milk. Lily thanked the OVP for the medical assistance her daughter received.
The OVP's Medical Assistance Program remains open to those in need.
