The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has recorded the largest relief operations in a single day, with a total of 11,993 families providing assistance in the Davao Region on February 19.

Led by the OVP-Disaster Operations Center (OVP-DOC), rice and relief bags (RBs) were distributed to 10,393 families in Davao Oriental.

Five kilograms of rice and RBs were distributed to residents of different barangays in Davao Oriental, which were recently hit by flooding and landslides due to heavy rain.

Simultaneously, the Davao Satellite Office led the distribution of assistance to 1,600 families in Davao de Oro.

Canned food and face masks from a donor in Luzon were also distributed during the OVP's relief operations.
