The Office of the Vice President was invited to a gala concert hosted by the Russian Government through Ambassador His Excellency Marat Ignatyevich Pavlov on January 30 at the Aliw Theater, CCP Complex, Pasay City.
The event was attended by the OVP with the teachers and students of the Bataan High School for the Arts (BHSA).
We witnessed the performance of the Moscow Academic Dance Theater “Gzhel” — a group of world class dancers founded in 1988. Gzhel presented various Russian folk dances.
The gala concert was an initiative of the Russian government to strengthen the cultural ties of their country and the Philippines.
Undersecretary and Chief of Staff Zuleika T. Lopez represented the Office of the Vice President in said event.
