The Office of the Vice President Disaster Operations Center (OVP-DOC) conducted a five-day relief mission, distributing relief bags to 5,390 families or 18,661 residents in areas affected by the phreatic eruption of Mayon Volcano.
Together with the OVP Bicol Satellite Office, the relief bags, which contain sleeping mats, blankets, mosquito nets, alcohol, face masks and other sanitary items, were distributed to affected residents from 25 barangays in seven cities and municipalities in the province of Albay.
