The Office of the Vice President Disaster Operations Center (OVP-DOC) distributed assistance to the affected families of the flood in the towns of Compostela, Montevista, New Bataan, and Monkayo in Davao de Oro to distribute assistance to those affected.
With the Davao de Oro PDRRMO and PSWDO, the OVP distributed five kilograms of rice to each of the 1,601 families as of February 1.
The OVP continues with its relief operations for those affected by the combined effects of the shear line and low pressure area.
