The Office of the Vice President Disaster Operations Center (OVP-DOC) and OVP Dagupan Satellite Office on March 23 provided assistance to 5,340 individuals or 1,415 families affected by the fire that hit the Kayang-Hilltop public market, Baguio City on March 11.
A total of 1,500 Relief for Individuals in Crisis and Emergencies (RICE) food boxes were distributed to the victims, most of them market vendors, who live in different barangays in the city.
