The Office of the Vice President’s Disaster Operations Center (OVP-DOC) on Wednesday (March 1) extended help to flood victims in the municipality of Carmen in Davao del Norte.
As many as 331 families in the evacuation centers received relief boxes containing sleeping mats, blankets, mosquito nets, hygiene kits such as alcohol, face masks, and other sanitary items.
Meanwhile, OVP-DOC distributed 500 sacks of rice to 103 families who were affected by the flood but did not evacuate.
It is estimated that around 4,000 individuals are affected by the said flood in the town of Carmen.
