The Office of the Vice President-Disaster Operations Center on November 4 provided assistance to residents of areas devastated by Typhoon Paeng.

The OVP-DOC went to the towns of Bacoor, Cavite; Hilongos, Leyte; Bato, Leyte; Zamboanga, Cotabato, and the provinces of Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur and Antique.

On November 1, OVP handed over 100 sacks of rice to residents of Laguna through Mayor Art Joseph Francis Mercado.

With the help of volunteers from OVP-DOC, Philippine Coast Guard, Inday Sara Duterte Ako (ISDA) movement, local government units, and the OVP satellite offices, they were able to distribute rice, relief goods, bottled water and clothes.
