The Office of the Vice President, through the Disaster Operations Center (OVP-DOC) and OVP Davao Satellite Office, on March 16 extended another round of help to the victims of the fire that gutted communities in Barangay 21-C and Barangay 22-C, Piapi Boulevard in Davao City.

The relief goods was the third tranche in the relief operations to residents affected by the February 25 fire.

More than 963 families received the assistance.

Two days after the fire, the OVP-DOC extended the first tranche of relief operations through a weeklong complete meal feeding program to the affected residents

The second tranche of relief operations was extended to affected residents on March 10.

We thanked the Philippine National Police, Task Force Davao and other volunteers for helping the OVP in its relief operations.
