OVP holds medical missions

The Office of the Vice President conducted medical missions in different regions to provide essential healthcare services to underserved communities.

In Legazpi City, Albay, the Bicol Satellite Office organized a 3-day Medical Mission from March 13 to 15, benefiting around 400 people from Barangays Homapon, Dapdap, and Rawis. The medical services were given in various covered courts within the barangays, aiming to bridge the gap in healthcare access nationwide.

The OVP expressed gratitude to volunteers and partners, including the Local Government Unit of Legazpi and MedToGo Drugstore, for their invaluable support.

Similarly, the OVP Caraga Satellite Office participated in a Health Caravan organized by the Philippine Red Cross in the town of Prosperidad in Agusan del Sur, on March 14. The mission included bloodletting, tooth extraction, first aid training, and medical check-ups, with the distribution of 33 wheelchairs.

The OVP collaborated with the Philippine Red Cross, the Local Government Unit of Prosperidad, and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development to ensure the success of the event.

These initiatives reflect the OVP's commitment to providing vital medical services to those in need.
