The Office of the Vice President (OVP) undertook a series of gift-giving activities across different regions in the country, spreading joy and addressing the needs of various sectors.

The OVP Caraga Satellite Office, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), distributed Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) to 1,818 beneficiaries in San Miguel, Cortes, Tago, Tandag City, and Cagwait, all in Surigao del Sur, on December 13 and 14.

On December 15, the OVP disctributed gift packs to residents, including sidewalk vendors, traffic enforcers and senior citizens, in Manaoag in Pangasinan. The Pangasinan Satellite Office, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Manaoag led by Mayor Jeremy Agerico “Ming” B. Rosario, distributed 700 gift packs containing essential items such as rice, spaghetti pasta and sauce, and canned goods.

Residents of San Fabian, Pangasinan also received gift packs from the OVP on December 18. The OVP, with help from the Local Government Unit of San Fabian led by Mayor Marlyn Agbayani, distributed 500 gift packs to persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, and minimum wage earners.

Despite the challenges brought by Typhoon Kabayan, the Caraga Satellite Office continued its mission on December 18, distributing 2,235 gift packs to 24 barangays in the municipality of Tago, Surigao del Sur. The beneficiaries included school officials, farmers, housewives, fishermen, tricycle, and habal-habal drivers.

On December 18, the Caraga Satellite Office continued its gift-giving efforts, distributing 2,748 gift packs to various sectors in Lianga, Surigao del Sur. The beneficiaries included PWDs, senior citizens, pregnant women, PTA Officers, farmers, fisherfolk, and tricycle and habal-habal drivers. The gift packs, each containing five kilograms of rice, spaghetti pasta and sauce, and corned beef, also served as assistance to those affected by the earthquake and Typhoon Kabayan.

On December 20, the Pangasinan Satellite Office distributed 500 gift packs to senior citizens and PWDs in San Jacinto, Pangasinan. The Local Government Unit of San Jacinto, led by Mayor Leo de Vera, thanked the OVP for support it has given to its residents.

On December 23, the Caraga Satellite Office led the distribution of gift packs to construction workers, habal-habal drivers and tricycle drivers in the Caraga Region. The OVP also distributed gifts to senior citizens, PWDs, and housewives in Sibagat, Agusan del Sur. In Tag-anungan, Cortes, Surigao del Sur, construction workers and fishermen also received gifts from the OVP.

A total of 1,075 gift packs, each containing five kilograms of rice, spaghetti pasta and sauce, and two cans of corned beef, were distributed with help from the Local Government Unit of Sibagat, Agusan del Sur, and Barangay Local Government Unit of Tag-anungan, Cortes, Surigao del Sur.

On December 21, the Davao Satellite Office organized a gift-giving activity at the Davao City Special School in Bangkal, Davao City. A total of 2,002 special needs students from kindergarten to senior high school received gift packs containing spaghetti pasta and sauce, corned beef, and three kilograms of rice.
