The Office of the Vice President joined the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in distributing Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) to thousands of beneficiaries of the public transport sector in Davao City last December 27-29.
More than 5,000 beneficiaries received the AICS, which was released at the Rizal Elementary School in Davao City.
The OVP, with the Davao City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO), also distributed 10-kilogram rice packs to more than 5,000 jeepney and taxi drivers on December 29.
