The Office of the Vice President, led by the Davao Satellite Office, on December 18 distributed gift packs to the children of scavengers and garbage collectors residing near the Sanitary Landfill in New Carmen, Tugbok District in Davao City.

Around 1,500 children received the OVP gift packs containing Noche Buena items such as spaghetti, sauce, corned beef, and five kilograms of rice.

The distribution was held with help from the Davao City Local Government, City Social Welfare and Development Office, Public Safety Security Command Center, Civil Security Unit, Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Council, Barangay Tanods, and the Police National Police.
