PagbaBAGo bags reach Zambales

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) distributed PagbaBAGo bags to nine public elementary schools in Palauig, Zambales, from March 6 to 8.

Over 1,000 bags were handed out to learners from San Vicente Elementary School, Aninzo-Arca Elementary School, Dapla Elementary School, Pangolingan Elementary School, Manggahan Elementary School, Dampay Elementary School, Lipay Elementary School, Luan Elementary School, and Magalawa Elementary School.

Among the beneficiaries were Aeta and Igorot students from Sitio Santa Martha, Barangay Pangolingan, and Sitio Dapla in Barangay Salaza. Selected students from Magalawa Island also received backpacks. The island is a 15-minute boat ride from the mainland.

The bags contained school supplies and dental kits.

The distribution was carried out in response to a request from the Palauig LGBT INC. organization through Kenneth Aninzo and in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Palauig, Zambales, led by Mayor Billy Aceron, who was represented by Vice Mayor Christian Daniel Aceron, and their Sangguniang Bayan Members George Aranas, Dianarish Ercia, and Atty. Christopher Lawrence Panlasa.
