Despite the chilly weather, the beneficiaries in Baguio City warmly embraced the Office of the Vice President's (OVP) program PagbaBAGo: A Million Learners and Trees Campaign.
Through this program, the OVP distributed a total of 399 PagbaBAGo bags to learners of the Rizal Elementary School and Doña Aurora National High School on March 15.
The bags contained school supplies and dental kits. According to the beneficiaries, these gifts are a big help in enhancing their studies using new school supplies.
The OVP collaborated with the Department of Education Central Office and school teachers led by Ms. Remedios Quino and Ms. Reona Cupiling. The OVP aims to promote the importance of education among Filipino youth and the realization of their dreams.
