The Office of the Vice President formally contacted the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to fund the Medical Assistance Program (MAP) of the office worth P10,000,000 to better respond to the needs of more Filipinos.
This grant will be used by the OVP for health services that will cover hospital fees, dialysis treatment, drugs, laboratory and diagnostic procedures, implants and assistive devices, chemotherapy, brachytherapy, radiation, physical, speech, occupational therapy and others yet.
From July 2022 to July 26 this year, OVP's Medical and Burial Assistance program has served 82,353 beneficiaries and processed assistance worth Php 764,802,065.60.
