Tree Planting Activity in Negros Occidental

The Office of the Vice President - Panay and Negros Islands conducted a Tree Planting Activity at the back of the Mateo Libo-on National High School in Barangay Montilla, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental, on March 2.

The OVP team planted around 200 seedlings of Madre de Cacao, Cacao, and Coffee trees. The team collaborated with the Local Government Unit of Moises Padilla, Barangay Council, Barangay Montilla personnel, the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management team, teachers, and students. This activity is part of the PagbaBAGo: A Million Learners and Trees Campaign of the OVP, aiming to plant one million trees by 2028.
