We congratulate the local government of San Juan under the leadership of Mayor Francisco Javier M. Zamora for the successful implementation of internet-based learning so that students can continue their studies despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
All 13 public schools in the city have fiber optic internet connections to support online learning. Each student in grades 1-3 was issued a tablet, while students in grades 4-6 were given laptops.
Classroom of the public schools are also equipped with a 55-inch TV.
This is part of Vice President Sara Duterte's message to the local leaders of the city:
"By collaborating with our local policy makers, school administrators, and the general public in building avenues for sustainable learning, you have successfully initiated valuable programs that empower communities and enhance school activity among your students."
