Vice President Sara Duterte on December 7 attended the general rehearsal of the Italian Opera Giacomo Puccini's "Turandot" at the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Pasay City.

This coordination started in August when the Italian Ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Marco Clemente, visited for a courtesy call and expressed his desire to work with the Department of Education (DepEd) to open the rehearsal of the Italian Opera to the students, teachers, and parents.

“I am very grateful to the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Manila, and our colleagues in the Department of Education for this successful event so that our youth can have cultural awareness.”
