Vice President Sara Duterte on December 30 joined the commemoration of the 126th anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal’s heroism.

Together with members of the security sector and officials and department heads of the Davao City government, the Vice President offered flowers at the monument of our national hero at the Rizal Park in Davao City.

This was the Vice President’s message to the youth and Filipinos: “I really hope that we will always treasure, remember Rizal's legacy and memory. That we live by it. And we hope that our young generation live their lives like how Rizal lived his life in the service of his community and his country.”
