Vice President Sara Duterte on Tuesday (March 14) visited the remains of the late Negros Oriental Governor Romel Degamo here in his hometown Siaton.
She said the passing of Governor Degamo is a tragedy for the province of Negros Oriental, and the Vice President expressed her deepest sympathies to the former governor’s bereaved wife, Mayor Janice Degamo, family, his friends, and residents of the province.
She also extended her condolences to the families of the eight other civilians who lost their lives in the tragedy.
