Vice President Sara Duterte was speaker in the 2023 General Assembly of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines at the Manila Hotel on February 21.
The Vice President emphasized on the importance of local chief executives in ensuring that the government’s development programs reach our countrymen.
The Vice President also thanked the local leaders for their support to the Department of Education's Basic Education Learning Recovery Plan a success.

Nagpapasalamat po kami sa suporta ng maraming mga local government units na nagroll-out ng kanilang mga reading programs, math and science programs nila para sa kanilang mga learners (We are grateful for the support of many local government units that rolled out their reading programs, math and science programs for their learners).”
