During the visit of Vice President Sara Duterte to the province of Guimaras today, she also attended the 2nd Bamboo Summit — a gathering to support the province's investment in the Bamboo industry.
In her message, she said that Guimaras is not only known for its famous and delicious mango but also the emerging new bamboo product.
"There is more to Guimaras apart from its world-class mangoes — and I am truly pleased to know that local government officials and the people of the island are helping each other, supporting each other, promoting the Guimaras Bamboo industry."
