Vice President Sara Duterte visited the Golden Mosque in Quiapo on April 8 to distribute food packs to Muslim mothers in time for Eid’l Fitr.

The Vice President thanked them for their support during her campaign and in her role as Vice President and Secretary of the Department of Education.

Duterte emphasized the importance of education to the mothers, urging them to instill its value in their children despite life's challenges. She also stressed the significance of peace and unity, urging them to stand behind beloved leaders and refrain from supporting illegal drugs, terrorism, insurgency, and crime, which disrupt communities.

Eid’l Fitr marks the end of the month-long Ramadan.

Duterte also thanked Senator Francis Tolentino for joining in solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters.
