Vice President Sara Duterte visited the Barangay Gasi Covered Gym in Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental, for a gift-giving activity for Muslim mothers from Cagayan de Oro City and neighboring towns in Misamis Oriental to celebrate the Eid’l Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan.

Eid’l Fitr is celebrated by our Muslim brothers and sisters as a time of gratitude for the conclusion of their fasting and reflection. It is also a time for giving and unity.

The Vice President also delivered a message about the importance of education and peace. She encouraged them to value their children's education as it is the key to changing their lives. She also urged them to safeguard peace and not support those who bring turmoil to their communities.
