Last week, Vice President Sara Duterte spearheaded a tree-planting activity at the Andres Bonifacio Elementary School in Bacolod City.

She was joined by school teachers in planting fruit trees around the school compound.

The tree planting initiative was part of the Office of the Vice President's program called PagbaBAGo: A Million Learners and Trees Campaign.

It aims to distribute one million bags containing school supplies and dental kits and plant one million trees by 2028.

She also spoke with school officials and learners. She emphasized that education is important in transforming lives for the better.
