During Vice President Sara Duterte's visit to Singapore, she first went to the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a nature destination that has a Bird Park.
In its aviary can be found Sambisig and Geothermica — the first pair of Philippine Eagles in Singapore from the Philippine Eagle Foundation in Davao City. The birds were sent to Singapore for breeding, protection, and conservation of the species.
Duterte is grateful to the organization for what it is doing to preserve and protect endangered bird species.
