Vice President Sara Duterte said she was grateful to the Philippine College of Surgeons for inviting her to their 49th Midyear Convention at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City.
The Vice President thanked the attendees for their service and sacrifices during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She said the pandemic exposed the urgency to strengthen the health sector and healthcare services — and ensure that medical services become accessible to Filipinos, especially those in need.
